"I love my work. It accesses the deepest part of my being. Not only has it been gentle and kind to me, but it has soothed my confusion, hurt, and anger, giving me a way to express what is loving and positive in my life. My work lays out a velvet path for me on which I walk softly and feel the sun on my face." -- Lynne Yancha
Lynne Yancha's sensitive, deft watercolor paintings are admired for their affectionate treatment of the subjects she chooses: young children, mothers, bucolic life and still life. One of her paintings was featured in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Annual Juried Watercolor Show at the Crary Art Gallery in 2010.
