Lynne Yancha
Watercolors and prints

May 5 - 26, 2012

She is nationally recognized as a signature member of four national art societies, including the American Watercolor Society, the Knickerbocker Artist in New York, the Catherine Lorillard Wolf Art Club, and the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society.

Yancha was included in Speaking For Themselves: The Artists of Southeastern Pennsylvania, written and published by Daphne Landis.

Her technique and paintings were featured in SPLASH: America's Best Contemporary Watercolors, and SPLASH II: Watercolor Breakthroughs, published by Northern Light Books.

"I love my work. It accesses the deepest part of my being. Not only has it been gentle and kind to me, but it has soothed my confusion, hurt, and anger, giving me a way to express what is loving and positive in my life. My work lays out a velvet path for me on which I walk softly and feel the sun on my face." -- Lynne Yancha

Lynne Yancha's sensitive, deft watercolor paintings are admired for their affectionate treatment of the subjects she chooses: young children, mothers, bucolic life and still life. One of her paintings was featured in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's Annual Juried Watercolor Show at the Crary Art Gallery in 2010.
